2025 AET Excellency Award Winner: Andre Goncalves

andreThe 2025 AET Excellency Award was presented to Andre Goncalves in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the Association, particularly through his leadership of the Young Researchers’ and Practitioners’ Forum (YRPF). Over the past five and a half years, Andre has transformed the YRPF into one of AET’s most active and impactful committees, creating a strong, inclusive platform that connects young researchers and professionals with the wider AET community. Through his clear vision, structured approach and calm leadership, Andre established effective working procedures, supported and mentored new members, and fostered a vibrant network that now plays a key role in the success of AET initiatives, including the European Transport Conference.
