2021 AET Council Elections

As a result of the elections to the AET Council, three new members are welcomed to serve for a three-year term:

Ajeni Ari Thimnu, an Individual Member of the Association studying at the Technological University Dublin, IE
Members of the Council who have been re-elected for a further three years are:

ETC 2019 call for papers published

We are glad to announce that the call for papers for the 2019 conference is now published. We invite all transport professionals to send in their contributions

The Association of European Transport is delighted to kick off the preparations for ETC 2018 at Dublin Castle with a Call for Papers.

The European Transport Conference (ETC) attracts papers that address themes of relevance to the transport agenda in Europe and worldwide. The Conference provides a great opportunity for presenters to network and form career-spanning professional relationships.

A preliminary call for papers has been made. The full call for papers will open mid-December.

AET launches a new web-site

A new website has been developed to improve communications with members and to enable the Association to promote itself to a wider audience worldwide.  All the three earlier distinct websites have been incorporated into one site – a “one-stop-shop” for information, membership management, abstract submission, access to conference papers and ETC bookings.

General Assembly 2017

The General Assembly meeting took place on Thursday 5 October during ETC in Barcelona.  The agenda for the meeting always includes the important business of the Association, such as the approval of the Annual Report and Accounts but it is also the opportunity for members to find out from the Board and Council what it has been doing and what is planned for the following year.  At this meeting, the four Working Groups reported on their activities and plans.  The Working Groups in place currently are: Website – European Transport Conference – Long-term Vision – Membership, Marketing and Recruitment
