AET Ambassadors Network

The AET Ambassadors Network continues to grow with the addition of three new enthusiastic members: Alberto Martín González-Zaera, from Connected Places Catapult, representing the United Kingdom; Maya Ada Scheyltjens, from Institute für Verkehr – TU Darmstadt, representing Germany; and Marko Stokic, from the University of Belgrade, representing Serbia. Their applications were positively reviewed and approved by the AET Board, marking a further step in expanding AET’s reach and engagement across Europe.

Their official introduction took place during the 11th Ambassadors In-Presence Meeting, held in Porto (Portugal), where they were warmly welcomed by fellow Ambassadors and AET Board Members. The meeting provided an ideal setting to celebrate their inclusion, foster discussion, and reinforce the collaborative spirit that drives the Ambassadors Network.

The AET Ambassadors play a key role in promoting the Association’s mission on a national level. They act as local connectors, ensuring that stakeholders across their countries are aware of the opportunities offered by AET, including participation in the ETC annual event and access to a vibrant community of professionals, researchers, and policymakers in transport and mobility.

With these new appointments, the AET Ambassadors lineup now consists of 13 members, coming from both academia and industry, and representing a wide geographical and disciplinary diversity.

Alberto, Maya, and Marko bring with them diverse professional backgrounds, deep knowledge of their regional transport contexts, and a shared dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration in mobility. Their contributions will be instrumental in further amplifying AET’s visibility, outreach, and impact.

Welcome aboard!
