After receiving a record breaking number of abstracts for the 2023 conference, our Programme Committees have drafted the conference programme for ETC23. The programme is available for download on the bottom of this page (while subject to change). The last update of the programme has been uploaded on Monday 4 September.
The latest programme with updated changes can be viewed by delegates in our conference app. Delegates and speakers who have booked their place at the conference will have received information on how to (re)activate their online ETC profile to access all our conference information.
Speakers have received notification by email of their acceptance in the programme and will receive a separate notification informing them of the allocated session in the programme for their paper. We will update the information on this page regularly while we add special sessions and social activities to our programme.
More information for speakers can be found here.
We will update you of new information on the programme through our LinkedIn and Twitter channels, or you can sign up to our mailing list.
The conference will return to the Bovisa Campus of the Polytechnic University of Milan, where we enjoyed a wonderful return to in-person meetings in 2022. The European Transport Conference will be held from 6 to 8 September 2023.
The ETC Call for Papers went out in December 2022 and was closed in February 2023. Our 11 Programme Committees then assessed a record breaking number of abstracts. The remarkable high number and high quality of this year's submitted abstracts meant that unfortunately tough choices had to be made while constructing the programme.
The Programme Committees in place for the 2023 conference, and their mission statements, can be found on the Programme committee web page.
Authors of accepted contributions to the conference are required to register for the conference and present their contribution.

Each of the 11 Programme Committees produce their own requests for papers every year. This year's downloads can be found below.
We welcome papers on research, operational deployment, policy discussion, thought leadership and we want to hear from anyone interested to use ETC 2023 as a platform to hold your final project dissemination event in a parallel collocated stream. If you are interested in disseminating project results you can find more information here.
